Selfish vs altruism in the humanist education

| dc.description | This research aims to evaluate the selfish vs. altruistic behavior of individuals faced with two situations. The first where they themselves assign their discretion whether or not altruistic while the second situation, the consideration is whether or not altruism under donating a few hours of classes for children belonging to the most vulnerable of Higher of Cazucá, for which this condition is subject to monetary incentives tied to a system of cooperation between other individuals. For this, an experiment is designed based on the documents reviewed in the experimental economics literature where from there; the information collected is verified by a Binomial Probit econometric model. Finally the article concludes that the results differ between the two models posed by moral hazard problems. | en |
| dc.description | La presente investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar el comportamiento altruista fren- te al egoísta de los individuos1 en dos situaciones determinadas. En la primera, estos sujetos definen, según su criterio, si son o no altruistas, mientras que en la segunda, dicha consideración está mediada por la donación de unas horas de clases para los niños de la población más vulnerable de Altos de Cazucá, esta condición se encuentra sujeta a unos incentivos monetarios que están atados a un sistema de cooperación entre los demás individuos. Para lo anterior, se diseña un experimento con base en los documentos revisados de la literatura de economía experimental, a partir de allí la información reco- lectada es contrastada mediante un modelo econométrico de Probit Binomial. A final se concluye que los resultados difieren entre las dos situaciones planteadas2 por problemas de riesgo moral. | es |
