dc.descriptionEste estudio investiga los resultados del método de enseñanza PBL (Project Based Learning) enfocado en el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes enfocado en el proyecto de investigación de arte en un grupo de estudiantes de 11 a 12 años que cursaban séptimo grado. Se diseño el journal (Planeación) y una guía de trabajo para determinar los resultados de la enseñanza del inglés a través de un método diferente al que ellos conocen al momento de aprender el idioma extranjera relacionándolo con el arte, donde cada uno de ellos desarrollaba en el proceso sus habilidades en el idioma inglés. Durante la investigación se empleó el enfoque de investigación cualitativo, el uso de esta herramienta nos permitió hacer hallazgos de datos importantes como las necesidades de los alumnos, las estrategias o metodologías de aplicación en el aula enfocadas al aprendizaje del inglés (L2). Los datos fueron recolectados a través de diarios de campo del docente, entrevistas y encuestas en línea. El análisis mostró resultados interesantes sobre la efectividad del método PBL en el contexto educativo, entre otras su capacidad para mejorar la participación, trabajo colaborativo y el compromiso de los estudiantes con el aprendizaje de la lengua extranjera. Los resultados dan pistas sobre estrategias valiosas para educadores y profesionales que pueden beneficiarse de ellas es su ejercicio profesional.
dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the results of the PBL (Project Based Learning) teaching method focused on the learning process of students focused on the art research project in a group of students from 11 to 12 years old in seventh grade. The journal (Planning) and a work guide were designed to determine the results of teaching English through a different method than the one they know when learning a foreign language, relating it to art, where each one of them developed their English language skills in the process. During the research the qualitative research approach was used, it allowed the identification of important data such as the needs of the students, the possible explanations for them and the strategies or methodologies that could promote the learning of English (L2). The data were collected through teacher's field diaries, interviews and online survey. The analysis presented interesting results on the effectiveness of the PBL method in the educational context, highlighting its possibility to improve participation, collaborative work and students' commitment to learning a foreign language. The results hint towards valuable strategies for educators and practitioners that can benefit from them in their professional exercis
