Abstract

This research work analyzes the impact of access to microcredit on the development of microbusinesses in Tunja, Boyacá. It studies how this type of financing influences the sustainability and competitiveness of businesses, as well as the main limitations faced by entrepreneurs, such as the lack of training in financial education and economic and social barriers. The study seeks to understand the dynamics of microcredit in the city, identifying strategies that allow optimizing its use and improving business growth. The research is based on a literature review, data analysis and the examination of public policies and strategies implemented by financial entities, with the objective of proposing improvements in access to credit and its impact on local economic development.
