El presente artículo propone un análisis profundo sobre la necesidad de una arquitectura sensible en el contexto contemporáneo, utilizando la fenomenología como herramienta conceptual para desafiar el enfoque geométrico-funcional dominante. A través de estudios de caso, se examina cómo la integración de experiencias sensoriales y emocionales transforma el espacio habitable en un organismo vivo en constante diálogo con su entorno y sus usuarios. La investigación resalta la relevancia de la memoria, la identidad y la percepción en la creación de espacios significativos, promoviendo una arquitectura que trasciende la mera funcionalidad para resonar con la subjetividad humana.
This article presents an in-depth analysis of the need for a sensitive architecture in the contemporary context, using phenomenology as a conceptual tool to challenge the dominant geometric- functional approach. Through case studies, it examines how the integration of sensory and emotional experiences transforms habitable space into a living organism in constant dialogue with its environment and users. The research highlights the relevance of memory, identity, and perception in creating meaningful spaces, promoting an architecture that transcends mere functionality to resonate with human subjectivity.
