Resumen
La Ley 115 de 1994 más conocida como Ley General de la Educación estableció mediante los artículos 23 y 31 las áreas obligatorias y fundamentales para la educación básica, media y media técnica, con el propósito de alcanzar los objetivos y fines propuestos en la presente ley. Una de las áreas establecidas como obligatorias y fundamentales es la que lleva por nombre Tecnología e Informática, que por algunos criterios de concepción e interpretación en sus componentes y aplicación normativa, presenta algunas dificultades en el planeamiento e implementación de la misma. Dentro de esas dificultades se encuentra que en algunas instituciones educativas se ha dejado de lado la formación en tecnología, centrándose únicamente en la informática, en la computación y en algunos otros casos, simplemente al estudio del computador y sus lenguajes de programación. El presente trabajo evalúa en una primera fase el plan de área de tecnología e informática de la Institución Educativa Carlos Arturo Torres Peña del municipio de Santa Rosa de Viterbo, tomando como referencia los objetivos, fines, lineamientos pedagógicos y estándares establecidos por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional y la conceptualización reglamentaria del área y sus componentes y desde allí, en una segunda fase, en un trabajo colectivo con los docentes del área, se redactó el nuevo plan, teniendo en cuenta el entorno institucional, la necesidad actual de formación en tecnología e informática, los criterios pedagógicos y estrategias de enseñanza y aprendizaje que este campo de formación y del saber requiere.
Abstract
The Law 115 of 1994, better known as General Law of Education, established through articles 23 and 31, the fundamental and compulsory subjects for the basic, middle and technical middle education, with the purpose of reaching the objectives and goals proposed in the current law. One of the areas stated as compulsory and fundamental is the subject of Technology and Computing, which presents some difficulties in its planning and implementation due to some criteria of conception and interpretation of its components and normative. One of the main and more noticeable difficulties of the area is that some educational institutions have neglected the formation in Technology by only focusing on the Computing side and in some other cases simply limiting to the study of the computer as a tool with its programming languages. The current project will evaluate on a first stage the plan of the subject of Technology and Computing of The Educational Institute Carlos Arturo Torres Peña of the municipality of Santa Rosa de Viterbo. This will be achieved by taking the objectives, goals, pedagogical conventions and standards stated by the Ministry of National Education as reference in order to define what this subject should be and from there, on a second stage of development work in conjunction with the lecturers on this subject in defining a new plan having understood the institutional environment, the pedagogical criteria and different strategies in teaching on this field
