| dc.description | This article is part of the transdisciplinary discussions of the Permanent Socio- Humanistic Seminar of the Department of Humanities of the University of Santo Tomás of Bucaramanga (Colombia) and aims to analyze the theoretical-practical (ir)relevance of decoloniality as an epistemological tool to distort the limitations of peace in Colombia. Starting from the interpretation that static frameworks inherited from political modernity limit the praxis of peace, it seeks to evaluate the relevance of decoloniality to counteract the liberal vision of the construction of peace in the country. At first, the article addresses the constitution of the modern political subject and the limitations of the liberal conceptualization of peace. Subsequently, it delves into the epistemic contributions of decoloniality and, finally, it analyses the relevance of decoloniality in the praxis of peace in Colombia. | en |
