dc.descriptionLa obesidad representa un importante problema de salud pública no solo en el ámbito nacional sino también a nivel mundial, actualmente la cirugía bariátrica laparoscópica se ha convertido en el tratamiento de elección, procedimiento quirúrgico que como cualquier otro conlleva a riesgos, sin embargo estos son más frecuentes, en el contexto de un paciente obeso y con múltiples comorbilidades asociadas. Las re intervenciones son necesarias frente a la sospecha clínica de complicaciones potencialmente mortales derivadas del procedimiento bariátrico y que se presentan en los primeros 30 días. El presente estudio analiza los factores asociados a la prevalencia de re intervenciones en pacientes en post operatorio de cirugía bariátrica, en una institución de cuarto nivel de complejidad, durante el periodo enero 2013 - diciembre de 2014.spa
