| dc.description | This article attempts to take a general look at some modern theoretical developments related to the epistemology of sciences. Quantum mechanics (modern Physics) and the contemporary sociological Theory developed by Anthony Giddens (Structuration) are placed here as a unit of analysis in order to discuss their possible merging points at the time of tackling the object of study (subject matter?) , and, in those terms, consider the epistemological tools of the so-called ‘hard’ sciences to evaluate human behavior in society. So, it is mainly to discuss issues that have so far been considered one of the tabu in modern science to know, the distinction increasingly blurred regarding their fundamental principles of the theory of knowledge. | en |
| dc.description | El presente artículo pretende dar una mirada general acerca de algunos desarrollos teóricos modernos relacionados con la epistemología de las ciencias. La mecánica cuántica (Física moderna) y la teoría sociológica contemporánea desarrollada por Anthony Giddens (Estructuración) se colocan aquí como unidad de análisis a fin de discutir sus posibles convergencias al momento de abordar el objeto de estudio y, en esos términos, a fin de considerar herramientas epistemológicas de las denominadas ciencias duras para el examen del comportamiento humano en sociedad. Así pues, se discuten fundamentalmente aspectos que hasta ahora han sido considerados un tabú dentro de la ciencia moderna a saber, la distinción cada vez más difusa de sus principios fundamentales respecto de la teoría del conocimiento. | es |
