Efecto del ejercicio físico sobre el lipidoma humano en individuos con diabetes tipo 2: una revisión narrativa.

| dc.description | Introducción: La diabetes mellitus tipo 2 es una enfermedad metabólica representada por alteraciones profundas en el metabolismo energético y lipídico. Si bien la práctica regular de ejercicio físico se reconoce por su capacidad para optimizar el control de la glucosa y disminuir el riesgo de complicaciones cardiovasculares, pero su impacto sobre los perfiles moleculares, particularmente en el lipidoma y el metaboloma, aún no ha sido completamente caracterizado. En este contexto, la presente revisión integró la evidencia científica actual acerca de las modificaciones en los perfiles lipidómicos y metabolómicas asociadas al ejercicio físico crónico en personas con diabetes tipo 2. Métodos: Esta investigación se desarrolló como una revisión narrativa de la literatura científica disponible sobre los efectos del ejercicio físico en el lipidoma humano en personas con diabetes tipo 2.. Se incluyeron estudios longitudinales en humanos que aplicaran programas de ejercicio físico (oxidativo, de fuerza o combinado) y que evaluaron los resultados mediante técnicas ómicas avanzadas, tales como espectrometría de masas (LC-MS), espectrometría de masas por desorción/ionización láser (MALDI-MS), resonancia magnética nuclear (NMR), o tecnologías multiómicas integradas. La búsqueda bibliográfica se realizó en bases de datos como PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science y Google Scholar. Se recopilaron datos sobre las características de los participantes, el tipo de ejercicio, las metodologías analíticas empleadas y los principales hallazgos en los perfiles lipidómicos y metabolómicos, integrando los resultados de manera descriptiva para identificar patrones recurrentes. Resultados: En total, se analizaron 17 estudios que examinaron el impacto de diversas modalidades de ejercicio físico sobre los perfiles lipidómicos y metabolómicos en adultos con diabetes tipo 2. El ejercicio oxidativo, de fuerza y combinado indujo cambios favorables, incluyendo reducciones en triglicéridos, mejoras en la composición de fosfolípidos, aumento de metabolitos asociados a la función mitocondrial y disminución de marcadores inflamatorios. Además, niveles más altos de actividad física habitual también se asociaron con perfiles metabólicos más saludables. | |
