| dc.description | El presente artículo de revisión analiza las estrategias económicas y políticas que pueden fortalecer la competitividad del bioetanol colombiano frente al brasileño, tomando como referencias experiencias internacionales y tendencias recientes en materia de transición energética. La investigación se desarrolló mediante una revisión sistemática de literatura considerando documentos científicos, técnicos, normativos de los años 2024 al 2026, seleccionados a partir de criterios de pertinencia, calidad metodológica y relevancia temática. Los resultados evidencian que Brasil ha consolidado su liderazgo en la producción de bioetanol gracias a políticas públicas estables, economías de escala, inversión privada, innovación tecnológica y diversificación de materias primas. En contraste, Colombia ha logrado avances mediante la implementación de instrumentos regulatorios y la formulación de la Hoja de Ruta de Biocombustibles 2030-2050; sin embargo, aún enfrenta desafíos relacionados con la capacidad productiva, la atracción de inversión y la incorporación de tecnologías de segunda generación. Se concluye que el fortalecimiento del sector colombiano requiere una estrategia integral basada en la modernización tecnológica, el financiamiento verde, la diversificación de insumos, la estabilidad regulatoria y la sostenibilidad ambiental y social, con el propósito de mejorar su competitividad y contribuir al desarrollo energético sostenible del país. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This review article analyzes the economic and political strategies that can strengthen the competitiveness of Colombian bioethanol compared to Brazilian bioethanol, drawing on international experiences and recent trends in energy transition. The research was conducted through a systematic literature review of scientific, technical, and regulatory documents from 2024 to 2026, selected based on criteria of relevance, methodological quality, and thematic significance. The results show that Brazil has consolidated its leadership in bioethanol production thanks to stable public policies, economies of scale, private investment, technological innovation, and diversification of raw materials. In contrast, Colombia has made progress through the implementation of regulatory instruments and the formulation of the Biofuels Roadmap 2030-2050; however, it still faces challenges related to production capacity, attracting investment, and incorporating second-generation technologies. It is concluded that strengthening the Colombian bioethanol sector requires a comprehensive strategy based on technological modernization, green financing, diversification of inputs, regulatory stability, and environmental and social sustainability, with the aim of improving its competitiveness and contributing to the country's sustainable energy development. | |
