Desde una perspectiva teológica, es inviable reducir la definición de la paz a una conceptualización negativa como el cese de hostilidades, aspecto necesario en un contexto de violencia armada, pero no el único a buscar, pues deben tenerse en cuenta otras implicaciones históricas. En los últimos años, este problema ha cobrado mayor relevancia en orden a la propuesta de paz total del Gobierno colombiano, haciendo que la discusión se materialice con mayor fervor en diferentes plataformas de acción comunicativa. Por ello, este artículo pretende visibilizar los hallazgos de una investigación cualitativa a través de una arqueología transmedia para cumplir con el objetivo de identificar el universo narrativo configurado en la cotidianidad colombiana acerca de la definición y las implicaciones de la paz. Dicho propósito fue abordado a partir del rastreo de los diversos relatos transmediáticos desplegados en TV, radio, prensa, academia, cuerpos normativos, discursos políticos, predicaciones y redes sociales. Al final, los resultados de la recabación de la información y su posterior análisis permitieron concluir la necesidad de una mirada holística que interpele a la teología respecto al problema de la paz, la reconciliación, y los problemas estructurales de corrupción, racismo y colonialidad.
From a theological perspective, reducing the definition of peace to a negative conceptualization—such as the mere cessation of hostilities—is inadequate. While this is a necessary aspect in contexts of armed violence, it is not the only goal to be pursued, as broader historical implications must also be considered. In recent years, this issue has gained prominence with the government's Paz Total initiative, intensifying discussions across various communicative platforms. This article presents the findings of a qualitative study employing transmedia archaeology to identify the narrative universe shaping Colombian perceptions of peace. The research traces transmedia narratives found in television, radio, press, academia, legal frameworks, political discourse, sermons, and social media. Ultimately, the analysis highlights the need for a holistic approach that challenges theology to engage with issues of peace, reconciliation, and the structural problems of corruption, racism, and coloniality.
