Este proyecto de investigación buscó identificar la manera en que la pandemia COVID-19 afectó económicamente el recaudo del impuesto vehicular en el departamento del Meta. La información que se empleó con el fin de llevar a cabo esta investigación fue recopilada de fuentes como documentos e informes oficiales de la Gobernación, puntualmente de la secretaria de hacienda departamental, oficina de rentas y entrevistas a colaboradores de la misma entidad fué el insumo para dar línea a este proyecto. Adicional al reconocimiento de cifras que arrojó la investigación, se identificó cuáles de los proyectos, planes o programas, diseñados por la Gobernación del Meta, se vieron directamente afectados por la recaudación, es decir; qué proyectos dependieron económicamente del recaudo de este impuesto en específico. Para finalizar se diseñó una propuesta conformada por estrategias que permitan disminuir el impacto negativo como resultante del no pago del impuesto vehicular.
Abstract
This research project seeks to identify the way in which the COVID-19 pandemic has economically affected the collection of vehicle tax in the department of Meta. The information for this investigation will be compiled from sources such as documents and official reports of the Government, specifically from the departmental finance secretary, revenue office and interviews with collaborators of the same entity will be the input to give line to this project Additional to the recognition of figures produced by the investigation, it is intended to identify which of the projects, plans or programs, designed by the Government of Meta, are directly affected by the collection, that is; which projects depended economically on the collection of this specific tax. Finally, a proposal will be designed consisting of strategies that allow reducing the negative impact as a result of non-payment of vehicle tax. In addition to a strategy that provides payment reliefs and thus promote increased collection.
