dc.descriptionLa narrativa nos ayuda a comprender las diferentes realidades y contextos desde el punto de vista de quienes se enfrentan a situaciones concretas, lo que se traduce en un conocimiento de la identidad. En este estudio, desde la perspectiva de la investigación narrativa, describe, analiza e interpreta los desafíos que enfrenta una profesora en formación durante el proceso de EFL con estudiantes adultos a través de su historia de vida y experiencias. Este grupo fueron adultos entre las edades de 39 a 61 años, estudiantes de Inglés Básico I de la Fundación Alianza Social Educativa, que brinda educación informal a personas de todas las edades, la institución está ubicada en la ciudad de Bogotá. Esta investigación se realizó mediante una metodología cualitativa e inductiva. Los instrumentos recogieron reflexiones y experiencias sobre la enseñanza del inglés a estudiantes de edad madura en la práctica pedagógica. Además, se incluyeron narrativas orales, escritas y multimodales. El análisis de los datos se enmarcó en profundidad a través de un enfoque temático manual y sistemático donde se categoriza en cuatro temas principales que abordan la poca experiencia en la enseñanza del inglés, la interacción con los estudiantes, la planificación de clases, y la investigación sobre metodología y enseñanza del inglés de forma didáctica. . Las conclusiones arrojaron reflexiones sobre el papel pedagógico de la voz docente de un profesor de inglés en formación junto a los participantes.spa
dc.description.abstractThe narrative helps us to understand the different realities and contexts from the point of view of those who face specific situations, which results in a knowledge of identity. In this study, from the perspective of narrative research, she describes, analyzes, and interprets the challenges faced by a pre-service Teacher during the EFL process with adult students through her life history and experiences. This group was adults between the ages of 39 to 61 years old, students of Basic English I at the Fundación Alianza Social Educativa, which provides informal education to people of all ages, the institution is located in the city of Bogotá. This research was carried out by means of a qualitative and inductive methodology. The instruments collected reflections and experiences about teaching English to students of a mature age in the pedagogical practice. In addition, oral, written, and multimodal narratives were involved. The data analysis was framed in depth through a manual and systematic thematic approach where it is categorized into four main themes that address the little experience in teaching English, interaction with students, planning of classes, and research on methodology and teaching English in a didactic way. The conclusions yielded reflections on the pedagogical role of the teaching voice of a pre-service English Teacher next to the participants.spa
