El presente trabajo tiene por objeto resaltar los lineamientos
constitucionales sobre los Derechos fundamentales de la persona, en específico
el derecho a la vida y el derecho a la salud, en personas mayores de edad y el
comportamiento moral ante la crisis sanitaria que padecemos.
La pandemia por el coronavirus COVID-19 ha colocado al mundo en una
situación de crisis de características extraordinarias en la historia reciente, en la
que los gobernantes políticos, funcionarios de la Administración Sanitaria,
profesionales de salud y la ciudadanía, están teniendo que tomar decisiones
rápidas y de gran envergadura en un contexto de gran incertidumbre. En este
ámbito excepcional, los hechos que se van produciendo y las decisiones que
tratan de responder a ellos están generando hoy en día conflictos éticos y
violación a los derechos fundamentales de las personas mayores de edad, al no
tomar medidas de atención que han sido contraídos con el virus.
Tomando como base las estadísticas y fuentes de información vemos que la
población más afectada y con más gravedad por la infección o cómo se ha
transmitido la edad como principal criterio de adecuación de intensidad
asistencial, es una conducta moral inaceptable.
Abstract
The purpose of this work is to highlight the guidelines
Constitutional Law on the Fundamental Rights of the Person, specifically
the right to life and the right to health, in the elderly and the
moral behavior before the health crisis that we suffer.
The coronavirus pandemic COVID-19 has placed the world in a
crisis situation of extraordinary characteristics in recent history, in the
that the political rulers, officials of the Health Administration,
health professionals and citizens are having to make decisions
fast and large-scale in a context of great uncertainty. In this
exceptional scope, the events that occur and the decisions that
try to respond to them are generating ethical conflicts today and
violation of the fundamental rights of the elderly, by not
take care measures that have been contracted with the virus.
Based on statistics and information sources, we see that the
population most affected and most severe by the infection or how it has been
transmitted age as the main criterion for adequacy of intensity
care, is unacceptable moral conduct.
