This reflective article reviews the idea of building a new citizenship as a moral and social duty that we are called to fulfill in our classroom practices. Recent classroom practices have significantly impacted the teaching-learning process and have faced challenges such as students' diverse ways of thinking and expressing themselves. These practices carry the responsibility of the school's transformative role, grounded in experiences that can be meaningful within the classroom. From this perspective, the article takes a qualitative approach, with a descriptive and propositional scope, aiming to reflect on the processes of training, guidance, and support within the classroom that contribute to the construction of citizenship through education centered on values and morality.
