Ética y conducta del ser humano según Santo Tomás de Aquino en la Interventoría

Abstract

Ethics and morals are related to the daily exercise of auditing, as they seek the welfare of society in general and the professional itself. This professional activity is carried out mainly in public procurement throughout the national territory, so its great importance due to the management and management of a significant part of the national budget, which directly impacts society, not only in relation to infrastructure and works as such, but in thought, perception and ultimately in the collective imagination of Colombian society, which sees daily how corruption in the public procurement of entities of all kinds, the credibility and authority of the public administration have deteriorated, often with the participation of professionals who should have exemplary ethical categories and who, on the contrary, have succumbed to corruption and personal interest . The Thomistic philosophy expressed in the Summa Theologiae allows an analysis based on the questions of daily experience of life addressed from Sacred Scripture and Aristotelian thought, throught wich St. Thomas Aquinas exemplifies and clarifies the catholic doctrine to its readers, proposing thesis and giving arguments for or against the given subject. This investigation seeks to contrast the ethical and moral values of Thomistic thought with the exercise of Auditing.
