El texto presenta los resultados finales del proyecto de investigación Participación ciudadana en los Comités de Desarrollo y Control Social de las Comunas 5, 6 y 7 de Bucaramanga, cuyo estudio se centró en describir y caracterizar la relación existente entre participación ciudadana y funcionalidad de los Comités de Desarrollo y Control Social, a fin de determinar su incidencia en la gestión pública de los servicios públicos domiciliarios.AbstractThe paper present the final results of the research Project Citizens participation in the Development and Social Control Committees in Communes 5, 6 and 7 of the city of Bucaramanga. The research was focused on describing and characterizing the existing relationship between citizen participation and functionality of the Development and social Control Committees, with the idea to determine its incidence in the public management of domiciliary public services.
