| dc.description | This paper explores some of the relationships between language and subjectivity which are present in Emannuel Lévinas thought, mainly, in his works Totality and infinity and Otherwise than being. It shows how, for Lévinas, language and subjectivity involve each other to question the primacy of the ontological and idealizing discourse held by philosophicaltradition. This allows to conclude that, for Lévinas, language and subjectivity are joint together because they share an ethical significance instead of an ontological or epistemological significance.Keywords:Language, ontology, ethics, subjectivity. | en |
| dc.description | En este artículo se exploran algunas de las relaciones entre lenguaje y subjetividad presentes en el pensamiento de Emmanuel Lévinas, principalmente, en sus obras Totalidad e infinito y De otro modo que ser. Asimismo, se expone cómo, para Lévinas, la subjetividad y el lenguaje se implican mutuamente para cuestionar la primacía del discurso ontológico e idealizante en la tradición filosófica. Lo que permite concluir que para Lévinas la subjetividad y el lenguaje son indisociables porque comparten su significancia ética y no ontológica u epistemológica. | es |
