Resumen
Objetivo: Diseñar y evaluar la estructura de un anexo para el análisis sistematizado de la radiografía panorámica. Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional analítico de corte transversal, se aplicó un cuestionario y se evaluó el diseño del anexo a estudiantes y docentes de clínica. Participaron 394 sujetos. Se analizaron variables sociodemográficas, variables específicas para la evaluación de la estructura del anexo y para la calidad de la imagen prediseñada. Se obtuvo el consentimiento informado. Los resultados se analizaron con porcentajes, frecuencias absolutas, medidas de tendencia central, desviación estándar, distribución con la prueba de Shapiro Wilk; Para el análisis bivariado se utilizó las pruebas de chi2 o el Test Exacto de Fisher según la naturaleza de las variables. Resulados: De los 394 individuos evaluados se encontró que la edad promedio fue de 24 años con una desviacion estandar de ± 8,3 y la mediana de 21 años; cuyo rango intercuantilico esta entre 20 y 23. La mayoría de los participante fueron mujeres 280 (71,7%) de las cuales 247 (88%) eran estudiantes.
No se encontraron diferencias significativas entre el grupo de docentes y estudiantes con respecto a los aspectos que evaluaban el anexo; sin embargo el 16,7% de los docentes y el 14,9% de los estudiantes manifestaron una inadecuada extensión. El 16,7% de los docentes opinó que el tamaño de letra era inadecuado, a diferencia de solo un 8,7% de estudiantes. Conclusiones: Se evidenció desacuerdo por parte de los participantes en la extensión y tamaño d e la letra, sin encontrar diferencias significativas entre los grupos con respecto a la estructura del anexo.
Los participantes evaluaron el anexo como una herramienta práctica y de gran ayuda para el diagnóstico clínico.
Abstract
Objective: Design and evaluate the structure of an annex for the systematized analysis of panoramic radiography. Materials and methods: An analytical observational cross-sectional study was carried out, a questionnaire was applied and the design of the annex to students and clinical teachers was evaluated. 394 subjects participated. Sociodemographic variables were analyzed, specific variables for the evaluation of the structure of the annex and for the quality of the image. Informed consent was obtained. The results were oriented with percentages, absolute frequencies, measures of central tendency, standard deviation, distribution with the Shapiro Wilk test; For the bivariate analysis, the Fisher's Examination tests were used according to the nature of the variables. Results: From 394 individuals evaluated, it was found that the average age was 24 years with a standard deviation of ± 8.3 and the median of 21 years; whose interquartile range is between 20 and 23. The majority of the participants were women 280 (71.7%) of which 247 (88%) were students. There are no differences in the differences between the group of students and students with respect to the aspects that evaluate the annex; however, 16.7% of teachers and 14.9% of students showed a low extension. 16.7% of teachers felt that the size of the letter was inadequate, a difference of only 8.7% of students. Conclusions: There was disagreement on the part of the participants in the extension and size of the letter, without difference of proportions between the groups with respect to the structure of the annex. Participants evaluated the annex as a practical tool and a great help for clinical diagnosis.
