Fortaleciendo la enseñanza del ambiente a partir de las concepciones y prácticas ambientales de docentes y estudiantes del grado 7-1 de la I.E.M. Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.

Abstract

The present intervention – investigation research pretends to study both the conceptions and the practices that Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe school teachers and students of 7 – 1 grade have. The same begins after looking up some different inconvenient situations with the environment such us: water, energy and paper waste and the incorrect disposal of residues as well. This study is based on some complex thinking principles, second order cybernetics and the systemic approach as it attempts to understand the complex sense of environment itself. The methodology used for doing the present work is the qualitative, with the application of some investigative strategies which allowed the researchers to collect the required information, they are: observation – participant, conversational sceneries, semi structured interviews and graphic representations of the environment. With the obtained data, it was possible to make some matrices which were useful to organize and process the information. By analyzing the obtained data, there appeared some subcategories and categories which let the researchers to comprehend how the conceptions and practices of teachers and students were. As a result of the mentioned categories and subcategories, there came out a didactic proposal whose name is Environmental connection. It pretends both to run up with different reflexive spaces among the population of study and the design and execution of a didactic sequence in seven grade. It enabled to strength the teaching of environment from natural sciences subject.
