Para la Urbanística, los aspectos relativos a la construcción material del territorio y a la ordenación de los usos e infraestructuras posibles del mismo constituyen la parte más sustantiva de su objeto de atención. En consonancia con ello, el objeto de la disciplina parece definirse mejor en la acción que en el lugar. Es tanto el ejercicio de establecer la condición para ordenar que el de elegir escenario y es tanto argumentar como proyectar,sin que resulte fácil discernir cuánto los argumentos se distancian de los proyectos ocuánto la condición es definición de un resultado final. Pero podemos ahorrar esfuerzossi acortamos en lo posible las distancias que separan esos términos.ABSTRACTFor urbanistics, the aspects relative to the material construction of the territory and to the arrangement of the uses and possible infrastructures of the same one, constitute the mostsubstantive part of their object of attention. In consonance with that, the object of the discipline seems to define itself better in the action than in the place. It is as much theexercise to establish the condition to order that the one to choose the scene, and it is asmuch arguing as projecting, without being easy to discern how much the arguments are distanced from the projects or how much the condition is definition of a final result. But wecan save efforts if we, as far as possible, shorten the distances that separate those terms.
