| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to analyze how women have transformed the concept of entrepreneurship through leadership, innovation, and the construction of their own narratives, leaving behind traditional notions ingrained since childhood by stories promoting a passive role in which they were expected to be rescued by "Prince Charming." Today, women take an active role as protagonists of their own stories, recognizing themselves as capable of leading, creating, and transforming their reality through ventures that generate societal value. In this regard, the study seeks to identify the characteristics of female entrepreneurship in the current context and the factors influencing its evolution, while analyzing the experiences and stories of women entrepreneurs to understand how they construct their identities and roles in the business and social spheres. It also aims to examine the key challenges and opportunities they face, as well as the strategies they implement to overcome them. The research will employ a qualitative approach focused on interpreting the entrepreneurs' narratives, identifying patterns and meanings within their testimonies, and contrasting these with theoretical frameworks. Data collection will involve interviews with four women entrepreneurs. The expected outcome is to understand entrepreneurship as a form of transformative leadership and to generate knowledge that highlights the value of female leadership in economic and social development. The study demonstrated that female entrepreneurship is a tool for social, economic, and personal transformation, enabling women to break stereotypes and assume leadership roles in their communities and businesses, thereby inspiring others. Furthermore, it was found that education and skill development facilitate their market participation, although challenges persist—challenges that will hopefully be gradually eliminated or overcome. Finally, a key contribution of the study was linking the entrepreneurs' experiences to symbolic tales such as Rapunzel, Mulan, and The Three Little Pigs, which reflect processes of courage, empowerment, and perseverance. | |
