El programa de Licenciatura en Educación Básica con énfasis en Humanidades y Lengua Castellana de la VUAD debe renovar su Registro Calificado en 2017. La fase anterior de la presente investigación dedicada a determinar las tendencias de investigación formativa en los programas de formación de docentes de Educación Básica con énfasis en Lengua Castellana, en universidades del país, pretendió contribuir en el discernimiento de la transformación de la actual Licenciatura en una nueva (acorde con la resolución 5443 del Ministerio de Educación Nacional - MEN, emitida el 30 de junio de 2010). Entre los hallazgos más destacados de la investigación referida sobresale que “los programas de licenciatura para la enseñanza de la lengua castellana en Colombia, han tenido cambios en el campo investigativo de acuerdo con las denominaciones que por decreto han debido asumir las universidades” (Cañón y Viveros, 2013, p.2). La tercera fase de la investigación denominada Tendencias en la Formación de Docentes de Lengua Castellana, seguramente también contribuirá con la orientación de dicho proceso, así como con la intención de la universidad de lograr la acreditación de sus programas, toda vez que aborda algunas de las condiciones exigidas por el MEN para renovar registro, así como algunos de los factores asociados a la acreditación de alta calidad.
En consecuencia, esta fase de la investigación asume la revisión de programas de formación de docentes de Lengua Castellana en Latinoamérica con la pretensión de caracterizar la oferta académica con que se cuenta en general en América Latina en este tipo de programas. Esto, además, terminará en una formación de docentes de lengua castellana, más acorde con las necesidades del país y con la calidad de la Universidad Santo Tomás.
Abstract
The Basic Education Bachelor program with emphasis in Humanities and Spanish Language of the VUAD must renew its Qualified Register in 2017. The previous phase of the present investigation dedicated to determine the trends of formative research in the Basic Education teacher training programs with an emphasis on Spanish Language, in the country's universities, he intended to contribute to the discernment of the transformation of the current Bachelor's Degree into a new one (in accordance with resolution 5443 of the Ministry of National Education - MEN, issued on June 30, 2010). Among the most outstanding findings of the aforementioned research, it stands out that "the degree programs for the teaching of the Spanish language in Colombia have had changes in the field of research in accordance with the denominations that the universities have had to accept by decree" (Cañón y Viveros, 2013, p.2). The third phase of research called Trends in the Training of Teachers of Spanish Language, surely also contribute to the guidance of this process, as well as with the intention of the university to achieve the accreditation of their programs, since it addresses some of the conditions required by the MEN to renew registration, as well as some of the factors associated with high quality accreditation.
Consequently, this phase of the research assumes the revision of training programs for teachers of Spanish Language in Latin America with the aim of characterizing the academic offer that is generally available in Latin America in this type of programs. This, in addition, will end in a formation of teachers of Castilian language, more in agreement with the needs of the country and with the quality of the Santo Tomás University
