Ítem Academia de música para Valledupar(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2017) Pumarejo Muegues, Tobías Enrique; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoÍtem Alojamiento rural en Aratoca, Santander(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024-08-28) Noriega Avella, Iván Mateo; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoThe design proposal for a rural lodging in the Palo Blanco sector, San Pedro district, Aratoca, Santander, stems from the analysis of the territorial context at macro and micro scales, where the touristic potentials and landscape attractions were identified, as well as the definition of the territorial and socio-cultural approaches. These data served as a starting point to determine two types of potential users through national and departmental statistical data, each corresponding to one of the approaches. Based on the information from the territorial context and the user, the relationship between traditional Santander architecture and brutalism and/or eco-brutalism is identified and proposed as a reinterpretative solution of the technical, formal, and functional components, with the aim of adapting these criteria to the immediate context of the Chicamocha Canyon, through an architectural program that meets basic and complementary spatial criteria for a rural lodgingÍtem Alternativas de renovación urbana para el eje articulador de la calle 9na, entre carreras 20 y 24 de la comuna 3 en la ciudad de Bucaramanga(2020-11-18) López Muñoz, Laura Stefany; Narváez Manrique, Jorge Alberto; Sevilla Torres, Diana CarolinaThe urban renewal alternatives for the articulating axis of 9th street, between careers 20 and 24 of commune 3 in the city of Bucaramanga, seek to generate a reactivation of public space by improving the urban structure of the sector in three stages (short, medium and long term) under the theoretical reference of the urbanist Salvador Rueda. The project contextualizes the principles of accessibility, ergonomics, comfort, attractiveness and safety to a current proposal, in order to respond physically-spatially to the transformation processes, deterioration of public space and lack of planning in the expansion of the area through the time, in a sector recognized as the educational centrality of the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga.Ítem Biblioteca pública para el municipio de Floridablanca(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2018) Olaya Larrotta, Oscar Alfonso; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoThe degree work aims at the design of a public library on a communal scale (type 2) for the old town of Floridablanca, where the conditions of the place will be studied and analyzed to decide if it is suitable for the creation of this space. The items evaluated were; Existing equipment, sector activity and the possible connections between them. The type of frequent user in the area and the most important flows from the accessibility to the place and the activities developed. To know the urban, technical, functional and formal criteria of the element; a typological analysis of Public Libraries was carried out that have been an urban success in its place of implantation in the last decade. Considering this last one determines which is the best solution for the project under a functionalist current, interpreting according to the context, its constructive system, materiality, necessary spaces for the community (users) and the way in which they will be linked according to their function offering spatial continuity when possible. Always for the benefit of the interior comfort, and the aesthetics required by the architectural element.Ítem Caracterización físico-espacial de la Iglesia de Santa Lucia en el Centro Poblado de Guane (Barichara), Santander(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2017) Fuentes Durango, Carmelo Alfredo; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoThis research is performed in order to generate through a record of current status of the Saint Lucy’s Church, property declared BIC, located in the small village of Guane – Barichara, Santander, where It must be emphasized the poor condition it was found, both architecturally and functionally, for this purpose, it is used as a basis, the PEMP guidelines as an instrument for the execution of this research, evaluating the problems that affect the integrity of the building, in order to safeguard its values and unique characteristics within the Colombian colonial heritage and architecture. For the development of this research, four phases were established, starting with the historical study of the building, followed by the survey with which read and it is performed an analysis and diagnosis of the property. Comprised by: the systems of supply centers, the study of markets, food supply, storage conditions, market types according to their geographic scope, architectural references, territoriality, design determinants and design criteria of the proposal. Likewise, 3 typological referents are taken, at an international, national and regional level, for their study of implementation, structuring systems, composition and functionality, rescuing a series of basic and characteristic parameters of these supply complexes that allows the centered proposal of 5 base modules that are repeated under a metallic prefabricated construction system, for its resistance to long lights and rapid installation, thinking of a system that allows a rapid development and adjusts to the needs of the land for future expansion of the plant. In addition, the project is based on the conceptual theoretical reference of functionalism through Louis Sullivan "The form always follows the function" that allows the development of a proposal aimed at the development of functional solutions to storage problems, shelf life of food and the development of the module adjusted to the physical and natural environment that surrounds it, in response to the difficult conditions of its location. The connection of the network of perishable food products (fruits, vegetables, grains, tubers and fish) of the municipality of Barrancabermeja and its border area with the proposed supply complex, as a centrality of these activities, is proposed. From there, a system of five modules is proposed that respond to the specific needs of the different types of food that are distributed within the proposal. Finally, this complex of modules is distributed through a rotation system focused on the useful life of food, which is based on the distance and time traveled between the entry and exit of the same, to give order to the road network of the complex and the rotation of products (food).Ítem Centro comunitario para la comuna siete de Barrancabermeja(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2017) Navarro Pabuena, Wendy Xilena; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoÍtem Centro cultural con énfasis en el séptimo arte para el Municipio de Girón, Santander(2022-07-27) Bautista Mendoza, Silvia Fernanda; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoThis project aims to design a cultural center with an emphasis on the seventh art for the municipality of Girón, Santander, which seeks to enhance the spatial experience based on the generation of atmospheres that show the link between interior and exterior to generate sensations in users. In this sense, a design thinking approach based on Rogelio Salmona and Peter Zumthor is carried out to recognize the architectural implications of their theories in the equipment of cultural centers in order to apply the principles identified in the theoretical framework. For this, three architectural references are analyzed and evaluated in the international, Latin American, and national contexts. This analysis reveals principles of spatial organization that constitute an architectural program with main areas for cinemas, audiovisual interaction rooms and complementary spaces. After the architectural, urban, and social analysis of the user population, five criteria are proposed to determine the ideal location, applicable to three buildings in the studied municipality, for their quantitative evaluation and final choice. With this, the project is located in the Ciudadela Villamil neighborhood of the Girón municipality, Santander. Finally, three types of patios were designed. The first one configures an access square with paths delimited by nature. The second, without columns, is made up of bushes. In addition, in the perimeter corridors, it receives the shadow reflected on the stretches of openwork wall that surround the facade. And the third, with columns, is structured by paths and gardens. Each one is expressed from the modification of the elements that constitute it to create types of experiences.Ítem Centro cultural para la comuna 1 del municipio de Duitama(2019) Penagos González., Wilmer Leonardo; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoThe cultural center born from the collective memory between patrimonial architecture and contemporary architecture to establish timeless dialogues formally fruitless by mean of boyacense landscape’s mimetization in an urban context from the formal conceptualization of one of the most representative places of Boyacá: the paramount, focusing on the formal development, where permeability will be implicit on the project, allowing canalize existing and proposed flows. The architectural object, like a rock when it detaches from its environment, the building born though formal conceptualization based on mimesis in architecture involving the urban and natural context in town. Colors, terminates and textures answer to this objective, giving place to this building that appears as a stony broken element and detached from field, when geometric pieces emerge from ground harboring the different program services: gallery rooms, polyvalent room, musical rooms, assemble room, production study, hall, services, snack bar, etc., the volumetric forcefulness and the light rational game answer directly to the colors and elements around the zone, light becomes a principal element inside the set, being predominantly overhead, giving a nearly mystical effect, fruit of getting natural light showers through indentations among modules to inside.Ítem Centro de acondicionamiento físico como complemento de la villa olímpica Alfonso López(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2018) Parada Alvarado, Naren Fabricio; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoThe goal of the physical conditioning center as a complement to “la villa olimpica alfonso lopez” is tu unify diverse spaces intended for sports practice. The natural slope of the property allows the development of a large inclined plane that connects the public and private spaces generating a free floor, which is an urban connecting axis between the building and the equipment of its environment, being a complement to the cultural scope of the municipality. Through the linear composition there is a grouping of spaces guided by the simplicity of the forms, with elementary geometries to establish a spatial relationship between the interior and the exterior, represented in wide spaces, ventilated and with different degrees of intimacy. Understanding minimalist principles, the use of materials such as concrete, steel and wood with its physical, thermal and acoustic characteristics gives an identity to the building, supported by an unconventional mega structure generating a horizontal volumetric proportion, with an elongated facade highlighting the hierarchy of its main activity, training. The musical training center has a total capacity of 500 users divided into two days, implanted in sector 2 of the POT, in the commune 13 within the centrality of the municipality.Ítem Centro de investigación y capacitación agrícola de la mora para el municipio de Piedecuesta(2020-11-17) Santos Villamizar, Luis Carlos; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoTo address the architectural proposal of a La Mora Agricultural Research and Training Center, located in the municipality of Piedecuesta, the methodological principles proposed by Enrico Tedeschi in his book “Theory of Architecture” are implemented and adapted, based on three components essential which are: Society, Nature and Art and Technique. This first component begins with a typological analysis of similar projects, where location, formal, functional and constructive determinants of the same are recognized. Subsequently, the study of the so-called “cultural landscape” is indicated, where the characteristics of the municipality are found from the analysis of demographic, natural, geographic and road connection values, the above in order to select the optimal place of implantation. Once the implantation site has been prescribed, starting from the second component, the physical and environmental characteristics of the lot are analyzed. In the third component, organic architecture is studied and, in parallel, the management of a concept of unity presented by Javier P. Igualada as architectural references to establish a relationship between the building and its natural environment, in turn allowing the reinforcement of formal and technical concepts of the draft. The functional analysis of the project together with the technical description of the research and post-production spaces implemented in it were fundamental for the development of the project. This research results in some computing principles that are a response to the location, formal, functional and technical determinants of the project and the area table.Ítem Centro de rehabilitación física para la ciudad de Bucaramanga, Santander(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2018) Chinchilla Rosales, Carlos Eduardo; Villamizar Pedraza, Yully Alejandra; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoÍtem Centro de rehabilitación para personas con movilidad reducida en el norte de Bucaramanga(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2016) González Jiménez, Stefhany; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoÍtem Centro de rehabilitación para personas en condición física para Bucaramanga(2014) Ortíz Reyes, Jesús David; Narváez Manrique, Jorge AlbertoInglés Este proyecto desarrolla el planteamiento de un centro de rehabilitación física que contempla las distintas áreas a fin, situado en el área urbana de Bucaramanga, funcionando este como un centro de rehabilitación física no hospitalario, complementario al tratamiento medico dado en los centros hospitalarios y de salud dispuestos en la ciudad.
