    The project involves an exhaustive investigation of different sources and studies carried out around the forest reserve areas of the municipality of Cogua in the department of Cundinamarca. The objective is to carry out a systematization of the information that allows to have historical, technical, scientific, and, to generate the proposal to update the management plan of the forest reserve. The current problem is that the reserve does not have an updated management plan and is a necessity of the municipality since environmental management plans and programs must be implemented in the reserve areas, the information currently available is the "Plan Of management for the forest reserve areas of the municipality of Cogua - Cundinamarca "this Plan was formulated in 2002, at the time it had 475 hectares protected (Cubillos, 2002), nowadays they have more than 900 hectares, for Therefore it is important to update the Plan mentioned. The project intends to consolidate, based on the Management Plan outlined in 2002, the information that has been generated by different research groups and professionals who have developed their subsequent theses, which may facilitate the proposal of a new Environmental Management Plan That allows to involve the acquired areas in years after 2002.
