Ítem Estrategia ecopedagógica para desarrollo de moda sostenible en los estudiantes del programa Tecnología en Gestión de la Moda de las Unidades Tecnológicas de Santander, Bucaramanga(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2022-03-08) Salazar Peña, Natalia; Páez Lancheros, María Esther; Universidad Santo TomásThis qualitative research study proposes the design and implementation of an ecopedagogical “Plan of 5 actions for the development of environmental competencies – CIPEC”, strategy which is suggested as a methodological guide for teaching processes, and inclusive and cross-disciplinary projects using experiential learning from a holistic and constructivist approach for the development of sustainable fashion in the students taking the program entitled Technology in Fashion Management at the Unidades Tecnológicas de Santander (UTS). Right from the beginning I have favored action research as a methodological design approach with the students ’and instructors’ using instruments such as by an ecopedagogical tour, a semi-structured questionnaire and the hydrological and carbon footprint. The latter provided a diagnosis of background knowledge, attitudes and habits which, either consciously or unconsciously, the students and instructors have been carrying out in their daily lives ignoring the environmental impact of their actions in the planet. Thus, by providing these spaces for participation, analysis, reflection and proposal, they contributed to the construction of a transversal learning and action project called "UTS Sustainable Fashion Week", with activities that address design strategies for development, production and marketing of clothing and accessories such as upcycling, customization and reuse, becoming the appropriate scenario for the implementation of the CIPEC eco-pedagogical strategy. The implementation of CIPEC allowed favorable results related to the level of environmental awareness that the student and instructor developed with each activity and the transformative potential for the solution of environmental problems related to fashion in a transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary manner. Valledupar ”arises from the need for control over three aspects that daily affects the facilities of the Educational campus, and interferes directly and indirectly in the development of classes and the normal operation of the institution, for which the following aspects are identified: 1. Pollution: Because of the behavior of the students, who throw the waste on the ground instead of depositing it in the bins and recycling containers, despite the fact that there are specific places where they should be placed; 2. The use of water: The students use water as a resource for leisure, as a game, they waste it, forgetting to close it after using it, among others. 3. Noise pollution: Noise levels are very high, which have brought consequences such as the absence of children with hearing problems who use hearing aids and because of this, they miss classes because in previous days the noise causes them pain strong heads, depression, lack of motivation and sadness. The research is carried out with fourth grade students of the El Carmelo Parish School, where through an intervention process the apprehension of their healthy environmental behavior and the formation of ecological attitudes and values is sought. The research approach is qualitative, according to the objective of the study on the existing reality that is described, interpreted, and intervened, through action research. These advances are supported by ICTs and highlight an elevated young people’s dependence on the wide spectrum of networks, games and scattered information, which becomes a transcendental element in their education due to the quantity and quality of information they constantly receive. Considering the above mentioned, interest has arisen to address the issue of Inverted Classroom (IC) by carrying out an execution as a pilot study with seventh grade students from La Cumbre Technical Institute headquarter A. This study was aimed as an environmental educational strategy to positively appropriate the dependence of young people on ICTs, particularly in one of the most decisive phenomena for the future of the planet and therefore, the future of humanity. Including strategies that allow students to investigate contents outside the classroom in autonomous ways, is the commitment of education in its different stages and forms. These strategies can be applied by allocating thematic assignments that precede classroom activities, and by taking advantage of the robust technical and scientific information access provided on the basis of ICTs uses, as well as the willingness of today's youth in the implementation of electronic equipment and information networks, for the appropriate use of digital resources in their academic training and personal development.Ítem Estrategias didácticas para generar prácticas conscientes de conservación de la avifauna, en los estudiantes de bachillerato de la Institución Educativa el Pórtico, Sede D, vereda Cantabara del municipio de Aratoca Santander(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2020-07-31) Pérez Bernal, Luz Yaneth; Afanador Ramírez, Juan Carlos; Figueredo, FernandoThis study had a qualitative approach based on action research by which different didactic and playful activities were designed and applied, as a strategy to create conscious practices of birdlife conservation in the high school students of the Educational Institution El Pórtico, Campus D, located in Cantabara village in the town of Aratoca, Santander. During the process, based on the pre knowledge of the students and their parents regarding birds and their biological function within ecosystems, the workshop was developed as a pedagogical and didactic strategy that consists in learning by doing, since this is participatory methodology between teacher and students, where teamwork and environmental awareness are encouraged in a transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary way. With the aim of linking students to the knowledge and conservation of local birds, semi-structured surveys were carried out to identify pre-knowledge and daily attitudes towards birds. Also, tools for the recognition and identification of local birds were implemented: through the use of guidelines and activities of observation in the field and consolidation and conceptualization of ornithological terms, paper craft workshops with bird sculptures and the creation of a catalog with the species identified in the field. The development of these initiatives was done from a naturalistic and constructivist perspective, generating experiential learning to strengthen the ties between human beings and nature, and their influence on the conservation of birds as biological heritage of ecosystems.Ítem Diseño de estrategias formativas en educación ambiental hacia la contextualización y resignificación del PRAE en la Institución Educativa Técnico Dámaso Zapata, Bucaramanga.(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2020-01-23) Parra, Sandra; Caceres, Sandra; Ibarra, Maria CeciThis research proposes the design and implementation of formative strategies in environmental education, from a constructivist perspective of learning, guided to the strengthening of competences and abilities of the educational community in an official institution in the city of Bucaramanga. In the development of this process and according to the diagnosis obtained, the school environmental project PRAE was the way to contextualize and re-signify practices that contribute and make possible improvement actions in favor of the environment as the home of all the living forms of planet. With a qualitative approach, based on action research, Elliot's model was defined as a guideline that allowed the integration of the pedagogical process and directed the execution of applied training strategies with the different estates that conform the community of this institution. Likewise, this project was proposed by the active participation of the agents immersed in the process, from the articulation with the different areas of knowledge in order to promote the education of a binding nature through the generation of environmental awareness that will result in a better quality of life.Ítem Diseño de una estrategia educomunicativa para la promoción de comportamientos ambientales en Coca Cola sede Bucaramanga(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2016) Sánchez Flórez, Andrea; Salinas Peñaloza, WilfredoIn the production site of Coca Cola in Bucaramanga, some environmental inappropriate behavior by the operating personnel was identified. The main cause is the way the Department of Environmental Management transmits the information, because it is oriented towards achieving some operative actions in the area but not to the environmental damage that the employee may cause. This causes that the worker only cooperates when he’s being watched. In order to correct this action, an educommunicative approach named “all adds, all substracts” that my serve as a basis used in the training dynamic in the company to assure responsible environmental behavior among workers. Using structured non-participant observation and open response poll it was possible to determine that the most affected environmental policy line is the handling of waste, followed by the efficient use of water and energy and that this strategy should be oriented towards them. A good contribution of this project is that the operating personnel of the company is open minded to changes and follows the recommendations provided as long as the purpose of the action is explained and has appropriate tools and a defined programming time to involve andragogy to the changing environmental responsibility.Ítem Estrategia educomunicativa pro-ambiental para mejorar la clasificación de los residuos sólidos en Racafé sede Bucaramanga(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2017) Castellanos Amado, Nelson; Montealegre Bustos, FelipeCon la estrategia educomunicativa pro-ambiental para el manejo de los residuos sólidos industriales en la empresa Racafé & CIA SCA sucursal Bucaramanga, se busca formular escenarios que mejoren las conductas y hábitos de los trabajadores, con el fin de establecer espacios agradables para el trabajo y el medio ambiente. In this work, the reader will find a detailed description of the reality lived there, as well as an action plan that allows generating an ecological culture in the students and the educational community of the Sánchez school. The aim of this project is to encourage reflection spaces, establish commitments and execute actions among all the participants in order to counteract the negative effects derived from the deterioration of water sources. Colombia, whose main objective is to promote environmental values as a way to the formation of its environmental conscience in students of eighth grade of this institution. This acquisition is proposed in three stages: First, characterization of the population from the environmental perspective. Second, educational intervention to the population under study through the implementation of workshops, recreational activities, use of TIC and other eco-educational strategies. In the framework of the investigation action was advanced in the strengthening of the own culture and tools for intercultural dialogue with the non-indigenous population who contributed elements for cultural survival in the Indigenous reservation. The developed phases corresponded: diagnosis, exploration, spiritual and cultural transfer actions, and pedagogical actions to protect customs, idioms, with methodologies taken from the indigenous worldview and of the educational proposal for the Colombian people. To achieve this purpose, work guides were prepared in the classroom for each of the aforementioned areas, in which the purpose was to address issues specific to each subject, but with three main thematic axes of environmental education as a guiding principle. This study did formulate as an objective, to promote the environmental culture among the inhabitants of the neighborhood called “the Center” of the Municipality of Playón, in favor of the protection of the river El Playón; before the environmental practices of destruction, already characterized among the population under study. To recognize the environmental problems of the riverside and the evidence of the risk factors, made that situations already lived by the greater population of the community, will be taken as an alert and they will be interested in participating in the educational actions proposed to reduce the existing problem. The methodological process was developed in a cyclical way. The diagnosis was the epicenter of the formulation of six educational interventions, which were worked in a sequential manner, being evaluated in an exercise of constructive and reconstructive self-reflection. The first phase of the research was made starting of observations, questionnaires and documentary review that led to find the start point in order that the environmental education, along with different strategies, to create guidelines for integral solid waste management in the community context. The Action - Transformation Plan was made jointly with national and local character institutions that have the responsibility to ensure for the appropriate waste separation, in different institutions along the city, likewise strengthen actions related with environmental education that has being carry on, achieving improvements in the presentation of waste solid to the waste collectors. It was necessary to establish the relationship between Educommunication and environmental practices, communication, ITC, education and ecological culture using the survey as an instrument. Based on this diagnosis, an Educommunicative proposal was designed and implemented, whose environmental education strategy is based on the teaching of the problema and Paulo Freire's literacy method. It is characterized by integrating the development of workshops and the use of ICT tools to promote ecological culture. The proposal was evaluated through a second survey and the semi-estructured interview, whose data were analyzed using the Atlas.ti software and from which the need to strengthen the sense of belonging with respect to the Educational Institution and the environmental ambient. This Work is qualitative with an action research approach.Ítem Eco ruta por Santander: una mirada integradora de los ecosistemas del departamento(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2018) Blanco Vega, Diana Gicela; Álvarez Santoyo, Luz MarinaThe research work Eco ruta por Santander: an integrative view of the ecosystems of the department, aims to implement a didactic strategy for the integration of the reader plan and the ethical component, to study the ecosystems of Santander, in the seventh grade of the Institución Educativa Comuneros (Bucaramanga). The work with a mixed approach is developed through action research and includes five phases: the diagnosis, design, execution, tracing, evaluation and dissemination of the teaching strategy. The Eco route for Santander didactic unit consists of five sessions, based on a virtual tour of the ecosystems of páramo, tropical dry forest, tropical humid forest and wetland. This affectation is related both to the social representations the community has of the river, as well as to cultural habits and practices. The present investigation with a qualitative approach developed through the methodology of Action Research, which took as an articulating axis the ecosystem of Rio Frío and intervened with environmental education strategies to several communities of the urban zone of the riverbank, in the section included between the Barrio Jardín del Limoncito and the Santa Coloma Multifamily Complex. This intervention was intended to contribute to the recovery of Rio Frío, from the knowledge of the context and design and implementation of strategies, with and for the community, seeking to promote harmonious cultural practices with the care of it, hand in hand with a reflective task in relation to the environmental practices, both individual and collective.
