The participants in this model are students who, adopting the role of delegations from UN member countries and, through negotiation and dialogue, discuss the problems that affect the international community. The negotiation methods follow the action protocols established by the United Nations, therefore, they must prepare documents (position statements and resolutions) in addition to being prepared to represent the delegation of a country, knowing the political, social and economic situation of the country. , in addition to the relations of said State with its peers and thus, being able to vote in accordance with the interests of the country they represent. The general objective of MONUSTA is to promote skills in research and oral expression through the analysis of different international problems. The research focuses on the department of Antioquia, where the presence of this type of unconventional weaponry. The project focuses in conducting an academic analysis about the reason why guerrillas in Colombia agreed to the use of this type of unconventional weaponry, given the asymmetric conditions the armed conflict, and implemented inappropriate tactics of war, violating international protocols for the protection of Human Rights and infringing the Law International Humanitarian, protocols signed by Colombia.
