| dc.description | The violence that affects and undermines the rights of children is a social phenomenon evident in the history and across cultures. Their demonstrations take on meanings and significance from the social representations and the dynamics of power that legitimized. The growing concern felt, and informed by various disciplines, about the importance of ensuring the full development of the child and the child and their access to the rights proclaimed in the 1989 Convention, to promote the social and human development in all nations, has led to new laws in the country and likewise has had greater influence in the formulation of public policies regarding children and adolescents. However, the existence of such regulations is no guarantee of a change in social practices that even in the XXI century have not been changed in relation to the treatment and recognition of the dignity of children and adolescents. It is therefore essential that the university is committed to the process of transforming the practice of violence towards children, reaching from the research and social outreach for the voice and the reality of children is heard and viewed, and to be the children themselves who build and propose new forms of relationship and recognition of their particularity. | en |
| dc.description | La violencia que afecta y vulnera los derechos de niños y niñas es un fenómeno social evidente en la historia de la humanidad y en diversas culturas. Sus manifestaciones adquieren sentidos y significados desde las representaciones sociales y las dinámicas de poder que la legitiman. La preocupación cada vez más sentida, y fundamentada por las diversas disciplinas, acerca de la importancia de garantizar el desarrollo pleno del niño y la niña y el acceso de los mismos a los derechos que proclama la Convención Internacional de 1989, a fin de propiciar el desarrollo social y humano en todos las naciones, ha generado una nueva normatividad en el país y de igual forma ha tenido mayor injerencia en la formulación de políticas públicas con relación a la infancia y adolescencia. Sin embargo, la existencia de dicha normatividad no es garantía de un cambio en las prácticas sociales que aún en el siglo XXI no se han transformado conrelación al trato y el reconocimiento de la dignidad de la infancia y adolescencia. Por ello es fundamental que la universidad se comprometa con el proceso de transformación de las prácticas de la violencia hacía los niños yniñas, aportando desde la investigación y la proyección social para que la voz y la realidad de los niños sea escuchada y visibilizada, y para que sean los mismos niños y niñas quienes construyan y propongan nuevas formas de relacionamiento y reconocimiento de su particularidad. | es |
