| spa |
dc.description.abstract | Digital diplomacy was born as a foreign policy tool transforming the traditional way that we knew until then. In a matter of years and as a new model, new digital tools have been key points to further contribute to the development of communications, politics and economic activities, with a capacity for mediation between individuals and states. This article analyzes digital diplomacy since its emergence and evolution linked to information and communication technologies (ICT) and social networks (Facebook, Twitter). We chose the Colombian State as a case study, since it is a country that has sufficient antecedents to provide what is necessary to enter the world of ICT and social networks, by guaranteeing greater progress in foreign relations between states. For this, a questionnaire was designed for the GIT Press and Corporate Communication of the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Chancellery) as a research tool. | spa |
