dc.descriptionCon la participación del concurso de Simulación Judicial ante la Corte Penal Internacional, el Semillero de Derecho Penal Internacional de la Universidad Santo Tomás buscó, por medio de los casos hipotéticos y la presentación de tres memoriales escritos en los roles de la Fiscalía, Defensa y Representación legal de las Víctimas, la resolución de distintos problemas jurídicos en relación con la interpretación de la norma internacional en materia de Derecho Penal Internacional, la búsqueda y aplicación de fuentes en el Sistema de Corte Penal Internacional, entre otros. De igual forma, pretendió estimular el conocimiento y la aplicación del Derecho Penal Internacional en las distintas Facultades de Derecho del país, así como dar a conocer la jurisprudencia de los órganos judiciales nacionales con competencia sobre los crímenes de agresión, guerra, genocidio y lesa humanidad. Y a su vez, buscó incentivar la implementación del Estatuto de Roma y la adopción de leyes de cooperación con la Corte Penal Internacional.spa
dc.description.abstractWith the participation of the Judicial Simulation contest before the International Criminal Court, the International Criminal Law Seedbed of the Santo Tomás University sought, through hypothetical cases and the presentation of three written memorials in the roles of the Prosecutor's Office, Defense and Representation Victims' legal process, the resolution of different legal problems in relation to the interpretation of the international norm in the field of International Criminal Law, the search and application of sources in the International Criminal Court System, among others. In the same way, it sought to stimulate the knowledge and application of International Criminal Law in the different Law Faculties of the country, as well as to publicize the jurisprudence of the national judicial bodies with jurisdiction over crimes of aggression, war, genocide and against humanity . And in turn, it sought to encourage the implementation of the Rome Statute and the adoption of laws of cooperation with the International Criminal Court.spa
