Abstract

As part of the culmination process for obtaining the Civil Engineering degree, the university offers the possibility of doing business practice within the degree options; allowing the student to apply the knowledge acquired throughout the university education and develop the necessary skills for their job performance in areas focused on the profession of vocation, becoming a bridge that allows the change from an educational environment to the professional and work field. This report shows what was learned throughout the business internship process carried out at Ecopetrol S.A., revealing the activities carried out during the six months of work performance, as well as the accompaniment and support provided by the tutor assigned in the internship. business. The structure of the report begins with the profile of the company, where the organizational structure and the services it provides are discussed, continuing with a regulatory framework applied to each of the actions carried out during the internship. Additionally, the activities carried out are related by linking a photographic record that evidences it, which allows the elaboration of a SWOT analysis of the company and personnel under the experiences lived in this period of time. Finally, the report ends with the lessons learned and the recommendations that arise from the intervention in the business internship.
