dc.descriptionThis article is the first result of the research entitled Proposal of didactic actions for socio-humanistic education in professional social responsibility of students from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga. From a humanist point of view, it aims, firstly, at developing a reflection on the background of the concept “social responsibility” and, equally, it proposes a conceptual approach according to the dialogue among various sources of knowledge. This article is therefore divided as such: Humanism, Philanthropy, Christian charity and a contextualization from the Industrial Revolution in the eighteenth century and the consolidation of capitalism in the nineteenth century. It concludes with a preliminary conceptual proposal which integrates human development, humanism and social responsibility and three different modes of social responsibility: Business (RSE), University (RSU) and Professional (RSP).en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo es resultado de la investigación titulada “Propuesta de acciones didácticas para la formación sociohumanísticaen responsabilidad social profesional en los estudiantes de la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga”.Pretende, en primera instancia, una reflexión aplicada sobre algunos antecedentes, desde el humanismo, sobre el conceptode responsabilidad social y, además, proponer una aproximación conceptual, acorde con el diálogo entre diversasfuentes del conocimiento. Así se proponen cuatro instancias de desarrollo: el humanismo, la filantropía, la caridadcristiana y los antecedentes dados desde la Revolución Industrial en el siglo XVIII y la consolidación del capitalismo enel siglo XIX. Concluye con una mínima propuesta conceptual donde se integran el desarrollo humano, el humanismoy la responsabilidad social y se proponen tres modos diferenciados de la responsabilidad social: empresarial (RSE),universitaria (RSU) y profesional (RSP).es-ES
