Caracterización de arboles aislados que representan riesgo para los habitantes y la infraestructura en el área urbana y rural del municipio de Villavicencio

Abstract

Considering demographic growth and the incremental development of cities, the need to make the right decisions about the silvicultural treatment of isolated trees that represent a risk to human life and civil infrastructure is highlighted. In this project, a characterization of the species of 88 isolated trees present in the municipality of Villavicencio is carried out through 10 requests presented to the environmental authority CORMACARENA, its location, type and degree of risk or threat that it presents in the sector and the community in general is considered to determine the corrective and preventive actions that reduce or eliminate the risk that these represent. Consequently, 10 technical concepts are made that contain an individual diagnosis of reported isolated trees, identifying their phytosanitary status, rooting and other characteristics that influence the identification of their risk level to subsequently determine the silvicultural treatment to be carried out. In turn, aware of the importance of community involvement in the preservation of natural resources and the environment, informative talks were held in this regard, in coordination with the environmental authority in the Meta department.
