Medio ambiente y educomunicación: una propuesta escolar para la protección de la cuenca del río Pamplonita, Norte de Santander

Abstract

Currently, the pairing of the environment and the human being makes it necessary for us to start taking the measures that guarantee the existence of both. In this sense, education and communication play a determining role in changing this reality. To achieve this, the project developed a participatory methodology that was carried out until the third stage of the field work, a dynamic that provided suitable scenarios for the actors involved in the execution of the initiative. From the fourth stage, the Participatory Action Research - IAP, allowed the students to become empowered and take the reins of the process, which allowed them, autonomously, to design, implement and socialize the educommunicative proposals focused on the generation of new ways of thinking and the achievement of a language consistent with the environmental challenges that exist today. Finally, the initiative strengthened the interaction between communication and education in such a way that it allowed each of the actors settled in the basin to develop educommunicative processes focused on social change for the protection of nature.
