Efectividad comparada de las intervenciones basadas en Mindfulness sobre la Regulación Emocional en adultos entre los 18 y 65 años de edad: Una revisión sistemática.

dc.descriptionEl objetivo general del siguiente trabajo fue determinar si las Intervenciones Basadas en Mindfulness (IBM) poseen mayores niveles de afectividad al compararse con estrategias de control activo e inactivo frente al favorecimiento de la Regulación Emocional (RE) en poblaciones de adultos entre los 18 y los 65 años de edad. Para ello, se realizó una Revisión Sistemática de 1279 artículos hallados en la base de datos oficial de la National Center for Biotechnology Information, la US National Library of Medicine, y el National Institute of Health bajo las combinaciones de los siguientes términos de búsqueda (a) Mindfulness-based AND Emotion Regulation AND Randomized Clinical Trial; (b) Atención plena AND Regulación Emocional AND Ensayo Clínico Aleatorizado; (c) Mindfulness AND Regulación Emocional AND Ensayo Clínico Aleatorizado; de los cuales sólo dos cumplieron a cabalidad los criterios de inclusión. Se realizó una síntesis narrativa de los resultados de ambos estudios y un análisis de calidad metodológica de los estudios a través del instrumento SIGN 50. Se encontró en ambos estudios una calidad metodológica con bajo riesgo de sesgo. También, se hallaron resultados ambiguos respecto a la efectividad de las IBM sobre la RE comparadas con controles activos, que indican desde superioridad, hasta igualdad o incluso inferioridad. Se concluye que la evidencia empírica aún no es suficiente para afirmar de manera tajante su eficacia o incluso su superioridad en efectividad frente a otro tipo de intervenciones. dc.description.abstractAbstract The general objective of the following work was to determine if the Mindfulness-Based Interventions (IBM) have higher levels of affectivity when compared with active and inactive control strategies regarding to favoring of the Emotional Regulation (RE) in adult populations between the 18th and 65 years old. A systematic review of 1279 articles found in the official database of the National Center for Biotechnology Information, the US National Library of Medicine, and the National Institute of Heal was made under combinations of the following search terms: (a) Mindfulness -based AND Emotion Regulation AND Randomized Clinical Trial; (b) Full attention AND Emotional Regulation AND Randomized Clinical Trial; (c) Mindfulness AND Emotional Regulation AND Randomized Clinical Trial; of which only two fully met the inclusion criteria. A narrative synthesis of the results of both studies and a methodological quality analysis of the studies were performed through the SIGN 50 instrument. It was found a methodological quality with low risk of bias in both studies. Also, ambiguous results were found regarding the effectiveness of the IBM on ER compared with active controls, which indicate superiority, equality or even inferiority. It is concluded that the empirical evidence is still not enough to affirm in a clear way its effectiveness or even its superiority in effectiveness against other types of interventions.
