Abstract

The educational complex is located in the city of Barrancabermeja, Santander, more specifically in commune 6, where the project is developed because it is a point of intersection between the sectors most affected by people in displacement conditions, where the higher percentage of informal settlements in the city and a large deficit in terms of basic and technical education. The objective of the project is to cover the educational, social and cultural needs of the community of children and young people, who are within this vulnerable population, providing quality spaces and learning, thus forming an architectural model that meets and manages to counteract some of the problems of the city and this population. The educational complex is divided into three stages: the first is an educational-technical institution, the second a cultural center and the third a residential area; It is desired to develop the first stage of the project due to the different problems found in this population, such as the lack of job opportunities due to their low level of education, and thus be able to achieve a greater possibility for a change in their life models.
