El deporte, concebido como un ejercicio recreativo, físico y competitivo en sus diversas manifestaciones, puede desempeñar un papel esencial en la educación y en la promoción del crecimiento, ya que sus formas de interacción
directa e indirecta permiten vencer los inconvenientes presentes en cada intento de comunicación e inclusión. El deporte tiene un papel social que es resaltado por las Naciones Unidades en varios documentos y otras organizaciones
internacionales. El ámbito deportivo constituye una herramienta fundamental para el desarrollo personal, el crecimiento individual y la integración en la sociedad, con la capacidad de atraer a individuos de diversas edades, colectivos y situaciones. “Además, posee el potencial excepcional de fomentar el intercambio entre culturas y contribuir a la paz” (Aceti et al., 2015). Desde el 23 de agosto 2013, las Naciones Unidas anunciaron que el 6 de se conmemora el Día Internacional del Deporte para el Desarrollo y la Paz, una fecha que nos permite destacar la influencia beneficiosa de la práctica deportiva y también de la actividad física en la sociedad y en la vida de individuos en todo el Planeta.

Mohammed Ahora bien, en Machetá un municipio de Cundinamarca situado en la región de Almeidas, a 80 km al noreste de Bogotá y donde nace nuestra Fundación Selección Unión Machetá, se ha caracterizado por tener a lo largo de los años un gran desempeño en las diferentes categorías del deporte, pero sobre todo en disciplinas tales como el fútbol, futsal y voleibol, las mismas que gracias a quienes las practican, han logrado llevar en alto el nombre del municipio. Sin embargo, estas mismas prácticas deportivas se han visto afectadas por diversos factores, principalmente políticos, pues por cambio de los mandatarios, cada cuatro años, se producen retrocesos en los procesos e incluso se deben empezar desde cero, interrumpiendo el aprendizaje continuo que las niñas, niños y/o jóvenes buscan en el deporte, así como se evidencia la discriminación por el simple hecho de que no se tenga un afín con los ideales de la administración municipal del turno.
Es por eso que desde el año 2020 nace Selección Unión Machetá, para suplir las necesidades de esta problemática que aqueja a los deportistas machetunos, ofreciéndoles una alternativa donde puedan desarrollar sus prácticas
deportivas, sin ningún tipo de interrupciones. Cabe aclarar que no es un proyecto netamente competitivo, ya que el objetivo es crear conciencia frente a los diferentes valores personales, sociales y profesionales que se puedan enseñar y aprender al hacer parte de una entidad deportiva.
Abstract

That is why since 2020 the Unión Machetá Team was born, to meet the needs of this problem that afflicts athletes machetunos, offering them an alternative where they can develop their practices sports, without any type of interruptions.
It should be noted that it is not a purely competitive project, since the The objective is to create awareness regarding the different personal, social and professionals that can be taught and learned by being part of an entity sporty.
