Propuesta de intervención paisajística y arquitectónica del sector "El Santo" ubicado en la zona de amortiguación del municipio de Villa de Leyva

Abstract

The Buffer Zones (ZA) are those areas adjacent to the limits of the Natural Protected Areas (ANP) that make up transition spaces between the protected areas and the environment. Its establishment tries to minimize the repercussions of human activities carried out in the immediate territories of the ANP. Likewise, their strategic location forces them to be managed in such a way as to guarantee compliance with the objectives of the ANP. What is expected with the buffer zone of the Iguaque fauna and flora sanctuary is to reverse and mitigate the current trends of degradation and threat that occur around the protected area, and extend the continuity of remaining ecosystems beyond the limits of the protected area. . Through pertinent management practices, at the same time it is intended to restore degraded landscapes and guarantee the supply of water environmental services, particularly for the rural population, it should be mentioned that the ZA is not an extension of the restrictions of use that the SFF Iguaque has, beyond its geographical limits. Although the ZA defines limitations to certain uses, they are less restrictive than those that characterize the protected area.
