Consecuencias, efectos e implicaciones de las distintas formas de violencia hacia las mujeres: una revisión de alcance

Abstract

Violence against women represents a public health and human rights problem that takes physical, psychological, sexual, economic, symbolic, institutional, obstetric and digital forms, whose effects are not always visible or distributed in a similar way, in this way the This research aimed to identify, systematize and map the available evidence on physical and psychological sections. To do so, a review of the scientific literature was carried out through the pool, selection and analysis of studies related to the consequences of violence in the physical, psychological, sexual, economic and social dimensions. The results showed 610 category-study records derived from 157 unique references. The records focused on consequences and impacts, risk factors and forms/types of violence. The most repeated sections were grouped into mental health, physical health, sexual and reproductive health, economic autonomy, social networks, institutional access and accumulated conditions. The evidence confirms that violence against women operates as a continuum of intertwined harm. Gaps persist over digital, economic, symbolic and institutional violence, long-range effects, intersectional populations and standardized medicines.
