En el programa “Preparando tu investigación para el repositorio de datos académicos”, el equipo entrevistó a la ingeniera Pau Paula Saavedra, directora de proyectos y consultora en Ciencia Abierta, Auditoría TI y PIDs. La conversación giró en torno al manejo y la importancia de participar en Papirys, destacando la relevancia de los principios FAIR, que buscan garantizar que los datos sean localizables, accesibles, interoperables y reutilizables, especialmente en un contexto donde la gestión de grandes volúmenes de información depende cada vez más del soporte computacional.
Durante la entrevista, Saavedra compartió experiencias sobre la investigación más compleja que ha liderado, los métodos de recolección de evidencia, los obstáculos enfrentados y las estrategias para superarlos. También reflexionó sobre los aspectos más gratificantes de su labor como investigadora y señaló las tendencias futuras más relevantes en el ámbito de la investigación y la gestión de datos académicos.
Abstract
In the program “Preparing Your Research for the Academic Data Repository”, the team interviewed engineer Pau Paula Saavedra, project director and consultant in Open Science, IT Auditing, and PIDs. The conversation focused on the management and importance of participating in Papirys, highlighting the relevance of the FAIR principles, which aim to ensure that data are findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable, especially in a context where the management of large volumes of information increasingly relies on computational support.
During the interview, Saavedra shared experiences about the most complex research she has led, the methods of evidence collection, the obstacles faced and the strategies to overcome them. She also reflected on the most rewarding aspects of her work as a researcher and pointed out the most relevant future trends in the field of research and academic data management.
