Beyond Books: The Digital Knowledge Ecosystem is a program that explores how university libraries have evolved into true centers for supporting learning, research, and innovation. In an era in which knowledge is disseminated through digital platforms, scientific electronic resources, and technological tools, access to reliable, high-quality information has become a fundamental challenge for students, faculty, and researchers. In this episode, specialists from the CRAI at Santo Tomás University discuss the role of digital resources in the democratization of knowledge, the tools available for academic research, and the information literacy skills needed to navigate an environment shaped by artificial intelligence and information overload. This conversation offers a reflection on how to move beyond simply searching for information and learn to analyze, interpret, and transform it into knowledge that is useful to society.

Today we present the project “Care and coexistence networks in parenting practices among migrant families in Cajicá, Cundinamarca,” led by Edward Johnn Silva Giraldo, PhD in Psychology and researcher on migration and community mental health. The study seeks to understand how migrant families organize their networks of care and coexistence in a new country. This dialogue highlights the challenges and lessons of these families, who reinvent their parenting practices every day by integrating cultural elements from both their country of origin and their host country. We also remind you that from September 29 to October 3, at Santoto Bogotá, the UDIVERSIDAD Week will take place, organized by the Office of Gender and Equity, featuring cultural activities such as the Inclusive Literary Tinder.
