dc.descriptionLa práctica empresarial desarrollada en el Centro de Despacho LATAM de la empresa Aerosan durante el periodo mayo-noviembre de 2025 permitió identificar oportunidades de mejora en los procesos operativos de exportación aérea. Mediante un enfoque cualitativo-descriptivo basado en observación participante y análisis de procesos, se diagnosticó que la validación manual de TARAS (diferencia entre peso neto y bruto de elementos de carga) representaba un punto crítico susceptible a errores humanos y consumo elevado de tiempo operativo. Con base en este diagnóstico, se diseñó una herramienta digital automatizada en Microsoft Excel con macros que permite calcular y validar las TARAS de forma inmediata, clasificando los resultados mediante código de colores según normativas IATA. Las pruebas piloto ejecutadas con 30 vuelos reales demostraron reducción del 75% en tiempos operativos y eliminación total de errores de cálculo, evidenciando la viabilidad técnica de la propuesta. La herramienta fue entregada formalmente a la dirección de Aerosan como ejercicio pedagógico para análisis interno, sin que se haya implementado operativamente hasta la fecha. La experiencia consolidó competencias profesionales en logística internacional, comercio exterior y gestión de operaciones aeroportuarias, validando la práctica empresarial como puente efectivo entre formación académica y desempeño profesional en el sector logístico aeroportuario.
dc.description.abstractThe business internship developed at the LATAM Dispatch Center of Aerosan company during the period May-November 2025 allowed the identification of improvement opportunities in air export operational processes. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach based on participant observation and process analysis, it was diagnosed that manual validation of TARAS (difference between net and gross weight of cargo elements) represented a critical point susceptible to human errors and high operational time consumption. Based on this diagnosis, an automated digital tool was designed in Microsoft Excel with macros that allows calculating and validating TARAS immediately, classifying results through a color code system according to IATA regulations. Pilot tests executed with 30 real flights demonstrated a 75% reduction in operational times and total elimination of calculation errors, evidencing the technical viability of the proposal. The tool was formally delivered to Aerosan's management as a pedagogical exercise for internal analysis, without having been operationally implemented to date. The experience consolidated professional competencies in international logistics, foreign trade, and airport operations management, validating business internship as an effective bridge between academic training and professional performance in the airport logistics sector.
