dc.descriptionA lo largo del trabajo se realiza una revisión de literatura sobre la estética asociada a los Implantes dentales, los parámetros relacionados con su longevidad clínica desde un punto de vista estético, biológico y mecánico, involucra condiciones de tejidos duros y blandos; teniendo en cuenta numerosas variaciones asociadas a la integridad de tejido marginal. Dentro de estos parámetros de evaluación contamos con dos índices: Índice Estético Rosa e Índice Estético Blanco. Objetivo: Evaluar los índices estéticos en pacientes atendidos en la Universidad Santo Tomas con implante único anterior, en el periodo comprendido entre el año 2007 hasta el año 2018. Resultados: Se evidenció un PES aceptable en el 74% de la muestra y un WES aceptable en el 85%. Se presentó una asociación estadísticamente significativa (p=<005) entre el fenotipo periodontal grueso y el PES aceptable, así como un tiempo de colocación del implante superior a 3 años y PES aceptable en el 70% de la muestra. Conclusiones: El índice estético rosa (Pink Esthetic Score) y el índice estético blanco (White Esthetic Score) son una herramienta objetiva que permite evaluar las condiciones estéticas de restauraciones definitivas unitarias soportadas por implantes dentales en sector anterior.spa
dc.description.abstractThroughout the work, a literature review is carried out on the aesthetics associated with dental implants, the parameters related to their clinical longevity from an aesthetic, biological and mechanical point of view, involving hard and soft tissue conditions; taking into account numerous variations associated with the integrity of marginal tissue. Within these evaluation parameters we have two indices: Pink Aesthetic Index and White Aesthetic Index. Objective: To evaluate the aesthetic indices in patients treated at the Santo Tomás University with a single anterior implant, in the period from 2007 to 2018. Results: An acceptable PES was evidenced in 74% of the sample and an acceptable WES in 85%. There was a statistically significant association (p = <005) between the thick periodontal phenotype and acceptable ESP, as well as an implant placement time greater than 3 years and acceptable ESP in 70% of the sample. Conclusions: The Pink Esthetic Score and the White Esthetic Score are an objective tool that allows evaluating the aesthetic conditions of definitive single-unit restorations supported by dental implants in the anterior sector.spa
