Abstract

Early warning systems are tools that allow notify with an anticipated time time communities about the possible occurrence of a natural phenomenon, with the purpose that people have enough time to make sound decisions and mainly safeguard their lives. Therefore, this document intended to show the way in which some products were created and were made various activities that are linked to early warning systems for earthquakes, and likewise is demonstrates how these actions add value to the educational community, scientific community and the population in general. Firstly, is indicated the way in which it was carried out the investigative process of each of the concepts associated to the Project, starting from the basics until get to deepen such the SAT for earthquakes that exist in the world, as in the SAT focused on the communities, and is mentioned how through the execution of training, is posible see these two systems together. Likewise are indicated the steps taken into account to elaborate some didactic models, which serve as complement for the talks on early warning that are carried out, allowing to show through them, the behavior of some structures at the time of an earthquake. It is also indicates the process used to carry out a training, in which one of the prototypes was used, and finally, is talking about the learning obtained from eachof the activities carried out.
