Abstract

The work of internship that is exposed in the present document contemplates a work carried out, from the administrative area, in a road engineering company. In this type of entities, various functions are carried out related to the follow-up of contracts and public tenders, which contribute to the professional growth of the future civil engineer, to the extent that they familiarize it with the resolution of the situations that arise in the year. Of the profession they require, both the knowledge acquired in the university and the creativity and intuition to make sound decisions.

An internship represents great benefits for the company that opts for it; In this way, access to the updated knowledge that brings the intern, who arrives avid experiences. Thus, there is a win-win between entrepreneurs and new professionals: the company becomes a space rich in possibilities to gain experience, which does not exclude the proposals of students. The above can be seen in this report, since from the internship contributions were made related to the formulation of administrative processes, inherent to civil engineering.

With projects like this, companies receive a positive impact thanks to the practitioner's management, which contributes to change and institutional and economic development. The mark that is left benefits the company and, in addition, it remains as a letter of introduction that opens the doors to new students.

Finally, the value of the professional internship is highlighted as an experience that gives the student the opportunity to start his working life and, in addition, allows him to ratify the branch of work in which he wants to perform. In this case, the intern confirmed his desire to specialize in the track line.
