Abstract

The project is to propose a terminal that complies with the adequate infrastructure for population mobilization, offering them services of large passenger terminals such as those of other cities or other countries, without affecting their urban context and complying with the proposed development plan of Ibagué sustainable 2037. The territorial planning plan (POT) 0823 of 2014, indicates that the passenger terminal of the city of Ibague has to be located on the road with connection to the national route, so it is proposed to relocate it to the site located in the expansion zone of the city, property that is located on the 145th street parallel to the 40TL ROUTE trunk and 290 meters from the Ibague - Armenia variant roundabout. The current Ibagué terminal is located between streets 20, 22 and between race 1 and railway avenue, in the urban area of the city, bringing with it insecurity in the sector and vehicular congestion in its routes of entry and exit of the city, this terminal also does not have the appropriate infrastructure, which the city requires to transport the population that uses it to move to other cities or municipalities adjacent to it.
