Análisis de los movimientos de flexo-extensión del brazo utilizando instrumentación analógica e interfaz con visualización en LABVIEW

Abstract

In this project it was proposed to develop a system for detecting movements of flexo-extension, in order to generate a tool that collaborates professionals in the health area (physical therapists), when diagnosing and / or supporting rehabilitation processes of pathologies in the elbow, angularly measuring the arch generated by the arm (flexo-extension movement). In the first phase of the project we proceeded to investigate flexion movements and extension and the different pathologies that hinder the normal movement of the elbow, is It should be mentioned that currently no devices created for this purpose are registered, does not exist although there are studies related to therapy devices rehabilitation. In a second phase, the implementation of specialized sensors is proposed for the movement capture while analyzing its own variables, such as speed, acceleration and degree of movement; which will collaborate to issue more accurate diagnoses of the state of the flexing-elbow in motion, These movements will be visualized in a LabView graphical environment.
