| dc.description | El presente trabajo de grado analiza la experiencia desarrollada durante las prácticas profesionales en la empresa Quick US, específicamente en el área de Customer Service del departamento de Local Traffic Miami. El objetivo principal fue fortalecer los procesos operativos y de comunicación relacionados con la gestión de servicios locales de transporte, el cumplimiento de citas y horarios críticos, y la trazabilidad de la información entre clientes, conductores y el equipo de trabajo. La metodología se basó en la observación directa de las operaciones diarias, el análisis de los procesos existentes y la estandarización de procedimientos, apoyados en el uso de herramientas digitales. A partir de este análisis, se identificaron dificultades en el seguimiento de servicios críticos, especialmente en escenarios de alta carga operativa. Como principal aporte, se diseñó e implementó una herramienta complementaria denominada Excel Tracking, orientada al control y monitoreo personalizado de servicios con horarios específicos. Su uso permitió mejorar la organización de la información, la comunicación interna y la capacidad de respuesta ante imprevistos operativos. Los resultados evidencian una mejora en la eficiencia operativa, la reducción de errores y el cumplimiento de los compromisos adquiridos con los clientes. En conclusión, la aplicación de mecanismos de control simples y estructurados contribuye positivamente a la calidad del servicio y al fortalecimiento de los procesos internos de la empresa. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This undergraduate thesis analyzes the professional internship carried out at Quick US, specifically within the Customer Service area of the Local Traffic Miami department. The main objective was to strengthen operational and communication processes related to local transportation services, compliance with critical schedules, and information traceability among clients, drivers, and the internal team. The methodology was based on direct observation of daily operations, process analysis, and procedure standardization supported by digital tools. Through this approach, challenges were identified in the monitoring of time-sensitive services, particularly during periods of high operational demand. As a key contribution, a complementary tool known as Excel Tracking was designed and implemented to provide personalized monitoring of critical services. This tool improved information organization, internal communication, and response capacity to unforeseen operational events. The results show improvements in operational efficiency, error reduction, and compliance with customer commitments. In conclusion, the implementation of simple and structured control tools positively impacts service quality and internal operational performance. | |
