WIDOCOL

Wido, Colombia es una plataforma que busca fortalecer la visibilidad académica y científica de los investigadores colombianos. Su objetivo es integrar la información de perfiles ORCID con la visualización en Widocol, permitiendo centralizar las fortalezas y capacidades de investigación del país. A través de esta conexión, se facilitará la creación de servicios de valor agregado, como la búsqueda de tutores o aliados en proyectos de investigación. Para participar, los investigadores deben autorizar el acceso a su cuenta ORCID desde la plataforma. En caso de no contar con un identificador ORCID, se les invita a crearlo para contribuir al reconocimiento de su perfil y de su institución.

Abstract

Wido, Colombia is a platform aimed at strengthening the academic and scientific visibility of Colombian researchers. Its goal is to integrate information from ORCID profiles with the visualization provided by Widocol, allowing the consolidation of the country’s research strengths and capacities in one place. Through this connection, the creation of value-added services will be facilitated, such as finding research tutors or partners. To participate, researchers must authorize access to their ORCID account from the platform. If they do not yet have an ORCID identifier, they are encouraged to create one in order to contribute to the visibility of both their personal profile and their institution.
