dc.descriptionEste artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación histórica en la que se establecieron las dinámicas de desarrollode la educación técnica y tecnológica en el Departamento de Santander mediante el estudio de centros educativosgestores de esta formación académica en la región, como el Instituto Técnico Superior Dámaso Zapata y las UnidadesTecnológicas de Santander. El proceso de consolidación de la educación técnica y tecnológica fue entendido y abordadodesde las políticas del Gobierno Nacional y como estrategia de progreso establecida para Latinoamérica.THE DYNAMICS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION IN SANTANDER BY MEANS OF AN INSTITUTIONAL STUDYAbstractThis paper presents the results of an historical research that established the dynamics of development of technicaland technology education in the State of Santander, through the study of educational centers, pioneers in the region,like the Instituto Técnico Superior Dámaso Zapata and the Unidades Tecnológicas de Santander.
